Garden Cottage and Walled Kitchen Garden in Upper Tysoe is opening for the National GardenScheme

Come along and see the acre of walled garden that has been developed over the last 10 years with lots of organically grown fruit and vegetables, including some heritage varieties, as well as flowers, shrubs and artistic installations.

Not just potatoes and onions but more unusual vegetables and fruit are grown including okra, mouse melon, achocha, Chilean Guava, jostaberry and artichokes along with many brassicas, courgettes, beans, tomatoes, peppers and much more.

A sedum roof, recycled slate seat, willow fedge and experimental fruit tree grafting are some of the more unusual things to see in the garden.

Plants propagated from those in the garden are for sale. Then, why not enjoy the views in the garden and the windmill beyond with a cup of tea and a piece of homemade cake?

For more information please contact the owner of the garden, Sue Sanderson on 01295 688080 or
