Friday, December 14  Christmas Carol Service at 6.30pm.

Every year we have a service of carols and readings for which we form a village choir.
This year our Carol Service is on Friday 14 December at 6.30PM
It is a lovely event, with a traditional service involving a huge range of people from both villages
and is appropriate for all, young and old and everything in between!

During November and December we form a choir to rehearse three or four carols for the service.

This is open to all.

Some choir members sing a lot and are members of other, slightly more professional choirs, some can't read music. It really doesn't matter. All that does matter is that you enjoy singing and are available to sing on the 14th and  for the majority of rehearsals in the run up.

We would love to welcome new members into the choir,
new residents of our villages, or people who simply haven't got round to singing with us yet.

We are delighted that Professor Keith Howard, professor of music at SOAS and new resident of
Shenington,  has very kindly agreed to play the organ for us and act as our very own Gareth Malone.

Rehearsal dates:

Monday 26 November at 8pm - location TBC
Monday 3 December at 8pm - location TBC
Saturday 9 or Sunday 10 December  - daytime (time TBC)
Monday 10 December at 8pm - church
Thursday 13 December at 8pm - church

If you're interested please let Laura Greenwood know.

Contact  lauragreenwood@gmail.com or phone  678 781.

We look forward to singing with you and to a wonderful village event on 14 December.
