Evening Barn Dance Etc on the Village Green,

Following last year's success, the organisers are hoping to raise some more money for 3 very worthy local causes.

The party will involve a children's disco in the early evening, a hog roast and local band Apricot Pie followed by a more grown up disco later into the night. There will also be a vegetarian
barbecue.

The Auction of Promises last year raised over £ 1 500. The organisers (mainly sports-potty Sloggers) are particularly keen to hear of any good prizes villagers can offer. Anything with a sports-theme would be particularly welcome...

The three charities will be the same as last year, (The Banbury Homeless Project, Macmillan Nurses, and The Church Roof/ Restoration Fund).

The events are being coordinated by  Slogger James Hartley, ably assisted by John Woodcock and Andrew Raisbeck and almost every other Slogger in the village.
